India introduces filing fee for miscellaneous applications in antitrust proceedings

Aimed at improving procedural efficiency and discourage frivolous or unnecessary applications, the CCI notified an amendment to the Competition Commission of India (General) Amendment Regulations, 2024, dated Jan. 12. The filing fee ranges from 500 rupees ($6.25) to 5,000 rupees ($62.50), depending on the category of the applicant.
