​ACCC delays decision on Brookfield, Qube's bids for Asciano

( February 5, 2016, 02:29 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission has delayed to March 24, 2016, its decision on the proposed acquisition of Asciano by two competing buyers, a Qube-led consortium and a Brookfield-led consortium. In its statement, the ACCC said the extension was needed to consult on Qube’s transaction structure and consider whether revised undertakings offered by Qube could be consulted on.
