Damages pot in in-store promotions case shrunk by releases, News Corp. says

( February 4, 2016, 22:33 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Some large consumer goods companies have partially let News Corp. off the hook over its alleged monopolization of the in-store promotions market, the company said in a court filing. News Corp. said in a motion that seven companies signed releases from 2011 to 2014 that end claims against it. The releases reduce the maximum antitrust damages the company faces, News Corp. said, asking US District Judge William H. Pauley III to force the plaintiffs behind the suit to modify their planned demands in an upcoming trial.See document below....
