Google must be sanctioned for misusing privilege to shield business communications from discovery, DOJ tells US judge

Google has misused the attorney-client privilege to shield ordinary-course business communications from discovery, which has harmed plaintiffs, undermined their discovery efforts, and subverted the judicial process, DOJ said. "Google has explicitly and repeatedly instructed its employees to shield important business communications from discovery by using false requests for legal advice," the DOJ said.See document below....
