Fuel-cell maker Elcogen wins EUR12 million EU loan

( February 8, 2019, 11:02 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Estonian fuel-cell maker Elcogen has obtained a loan worth 12 million euros under the EU's InnovFin program. The financing will help Elcogen to invest in R&D of fuel cells, to start its mass-manufacturing processes and to market its highly efficient fuel-cell technology, a new generation of clean-energy technology intended to produce ''green'' hydrogen. The technology is therefore at the center of Europe's global energy strategy to reduce the use of fossil fuels and limit CO2 emissions 40 percent by 2030, the European Commission said.Statement follows....
