Wooden-pole suppliers fined in Greece for bid-rigging cartel

( March 18, 2022, 19:35 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Four suppliers of wooden utility poles in Greece have received reduced sanctions for rigging bids in tenders organized by the Hellenic Electricity Distribution Operator, the national antitrust enforcer said today. The companies fined are Dritsa-Kagli, Elviex, Kiriakos & Nikolaos Harakidis and Kiriakos Emporiadis. They had entered into agreements to fix prices and quantities and to exchange sensitive data between 2016 and 2018, the watchdog said.
