Google removes data transfer fee for cloud service customers

( January 11, 2024, 16:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google has removed a transfer fee when Google Cloud customers switch cloud service providers. While removing switching fees globally does make it easier for customers to transfer data, "restrictive and unfair licensing practices" remain a problem, the company said.
