Yahoo data breach plaintiffs hope to negotiate new settlement

( February 7, 2019, 18:59 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: In the wake of the denial of the proposed settlement of class-action data breach litigation against Yahoo, the plaintiffs have asked US District Judge Lucy Koh to stay the case for 60 days to allow them to negotiate a new settlement. "Immediately following the Court’s denial of the preliminary approval motion, the parties met and conferred and are engaged in active and ongoing settlement negotiations to address the concerns raised in the Court’s order denying preliminary approval," plaintiff lead counsel John Yanchunis said in a court filing.See attached document....
