UK fails to source more Saudi oil to replace Russian imports, government indicates

Prime minister Boris Johnson met crown prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh today for energy talks, but the meeting didn't result in any public declaration that Saudi Arabia would increase supplies to the UK. The two leaders discussed how countries can "work together to improve energy security and reduce reliance on Russian hydrocarbons" and agreed to "collaborate to maintain stability in the energy market," a UK government press release said.Statement follows....
