Clearview AI used by US government agencies, casinos, department stores, NBA, company acknowledges

( October 25, 2021, 22:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Clearview acknowledged in a court filing that its users in the past have included a long list of police and other US government agencies, and federal law enforcement agencies including US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the US Secret Service. Private users included Best Buy, Macy’s, Kohl’s, Walmart, Home Depot, Albertsons; Madison Square Garden, and the Las Vegas Sands casino, as well as Coinbase, Bank of America, Columbia University, the National Basketball Association, and the gym and fitness company Equinox, the company said. Clearview said it has also offered its facial recognition technology to "private individuals" including as New York billionaire John Catsimatidis, venture capitalist David Scalzo, and actor-turned-venture capitalist Ashton Kutcher.See document below....
