CADE splits aviation insurance probe after failure to notify 10 foreign individuals

( March 15, 2022, 16:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian competition authority decided to split an antitrust probe into aviation insurance to speed up the investigation, according to a statement. The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, will open a separate probe of 10 foreign individuals already under investigation in the original probe. The agency decided to do so to avoid delays in the original investigation.
