E-privacy bill draft compromises issued by Romanian government

( February 4, 2019, 17:14 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A draft overhaul of the EU's privacy rules to include new technologies such as Internet-connected devices and artificial intelligence will be discussed by EU government representatives this Thursday. Romania, which is chairing talks among national governments for the first half of this year, has put forward possible compromises aimed at achieving a common position on the text. EU capitals would then be able to open endgame talks on the bill with the European Parliament and the European Commission.
