Accountable Tech petitions FTC for rulemaking on 'Surveillance Advertising'

( December 3, 2021, 17:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Privacy group Accountable Tech has petitioned the US Federal Trade Commission to launch a rulemaking process to restrict the ability of tech companies to use "surveillance advertising" based on their collection of personal data about users.
