Hawaii engineering firm owner pleads guilty to FCPA violations in Micronesia

( January 22, 2019, 22:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Frank James Lyon, the owner of an engineering firm in Hawaii, pleaded guilty to a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violation. His plea agreement said that from 2006 to 2016 he paid Micronesian officials at least $200,000 in bribes to obtain about $7.8 million worth of business. Additionally, he also pleaded guilty to paying Hawaiian state officials about $240,000 to receive a $2.5 million contract with the state.See document below....
