( December 27, 2023, 19:16 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: New York-Presbyterian Hospital agreed to pay $300,000 to resolve allegations brought by the New York attorney general accusing it of using tools on its website that collected and shared private and personal information with third-party tech companies when visitors used the site. Between June 2016 and June 2022, NYP used third-party tools to track visitors to its website for marketing purposes, allowing third-party companies to receive a variety of information about users.Statement follows in full.
