Sutter Health antitrust case over tying of hospital services moves to US jury as trial wraps

A lawyer for the plaintiffs portrayed Sutter as a profit-hungry monopolist that used its dominance over local hospital networks to drive up healthcare premiums for millions of Californians – but lawyers for Sutter argued there's no evidence the company had a dominant market share, nor added anything that amounted to illegal tying provisions in its contracts.
