Judge partially grants Retractable Technologies' request for relief in suit against Becton Dickinson

( November 10, 2014, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: US District Judge Leonard Davis partially granted Retractable Technologies’ request for recovery of Becton Dickinson's profits, injunctive relief, and attorneys’ fees. Davis said any profits to which Retractable is entitled are included within its $340.5 million antitrust reward; ordered Becton to notify its customers that its claims that its syringes save medication compared to Retractable's were false and barred Becton from asserting that its syringes have superiority in sharpness for five years; and granted Retractable attorneys’ fees for 50 percent of the time spent on its prosecution of antitrust claims even if they were comingled with other issues. See document below. ...
