Anheuser-Busch, Craft Brew Alliance agree to sell Kona assets in Hawaii to PV Brewing Partners

( June 10, 2020, 13:43 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Anheuser-Busch and Craft Brew Alliance have agreed to sell CBA's Kona Brewing assets in Hawaii to PV Brewing Partners in order to alleviate potential regulatory concerns regarding their proposed partnership. The sale of Kona Brewing operations in Hawaii to a team of investors "with decades of combined beer industry and business growth expertise" is expected to expedite the regulatory review process, the companies said. The agreement is contingent on the closing of A-B-CBA's proposed partnership under which A-B will buy the remaining shares of CBA that it did not already own. The sale to PV Brewing Partners does not include CBA's Kona business outside of Hawaii, the companies said. Statement follows below:...
