12 South Korean software companies sanctioned by KFTC for bid rigging on tenders for education software

( July 8, 2020, 03:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Twelve South Korean software companies, including Sunghwa INT, Wisecore and DNSOFT, were sanctioned by the South Korean competition regulator for alleged collusion on public tenders by city and regional offices of education. The Korea Fair Trade Commission announced that it decided to impose total fines of 456 million won ($380,570) and corrective orders on the companies after determining that they colluded by determining the winner and the winning price in advance on orders by the government to purchase education software programs for public schools from March 2016 to December 2017.The regulator's statement, in Korean, is attached....
