These make Queensland one of the most expensive places in Australia to become a ride-share driver. The law also includes a zero alcohol requirement and fatigue management, which Road Safety Minister Mark Bailey said were the same as those imposed on taxi drivers. The head of Taxi Council of Queensland, however, said the legislation still fell short of levelling the playing field.  ...
