Contract terms for South Korea's audiobook platforms under scrutiny by competition regulator

The regulator said in a statement following the launch of its investigation that the companies had self-corrected clauses that denied refunds for unused services, automatically converted free trials to paid subscriptions without explicit consent and credited refunds as deposits in personal accounts.
