The move aims to prevent practices including delayed subcontract payments before the Lunar New Year holidays on Feb. 8 to 10. The authority plans to emphasize whether December payments have been made properly from first-tier subcontractors to last-tier firms and laborers. If firms are found to have engaged in unfair conduct, they will be not only be ordered to make payment before the holidays, but will also face administrative measures such as corrective orders.  The examination will take place until Jan. 22. ...
