Google executive who said Chrome Incognito mode 'not truly private' in email must be deposed, plaintiffs say

( February 21, 2022, 18:13 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plaintifs suing Google over claims that "Incognito mode" in the Chrome browser deceptively continues to harvest user data said in a court filing that Lorraine Twohill, Google's chief marketing officer, must be deposed after writing in an email to CEO Sundar Pichai that Incognito is “not truly private, thus requiring really fuzzy, hedging language that is almost more damaging.” A US magistrate judge's order that Twohill must submit to a four-hour deposition must be upheld, the plaintiffs said in the filing.See document below....
