Austrian furniture makers face antitrust fines

( February 21, 2022, 13:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Norer Tischlereigesellschaft should be fined 69,000 euros for a breach of antitrust rules, Austria's competition watchdog has said in an application to the cartel court. The authority has asked the court to impose the penalty for collusion in public tenders in the healthcare sector. Norer and others divided tenders among themselves in a system of mutual submission of cover bids, the watchdog said.
