Alpha Bank handed EUR60,000 Greek GDPR fine

The company's employee had, without authorization, disclosed the client's transaction details to his wife, the regulator said. The watchdog said that the bank had failed to actively investigate the incident. Furthermore, the watchdog said that Alpha Bank had breached the principles of lawfulness and confidentiality, as well as its obligation to report data breach incident to the regulator.
