Hamelin wins German approval for Pelikan takeover

( December 5, 2023, 12:26 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: French group Hamelin has received German competition approval for its plans to acquire stationery products maker Pelikan following an in-depth review, the Bundeskartellamt said today. Despite the companies' high combined market shares in certain segments, the watchdog nevertheless concluded that sufficient alternative suppliers would remain on the market.
