Brazil antitrust watchdog discloses real estate, construction, meat processing deals awaiting fast-track review

Special purpose entity Kinea II Real Estate Participações has notified the antitrust regulator of its plan to acquire a stake in Bucaramanga Empreendimentos Imobiliários that is currently held by real estate company Norcon Rossi. Cement company Polimix intends to reacquire assets related to concrete services in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro states that were sold to Concreleão; Sirama, which operates in the cement market, plans to acquire Votorantim Cimentos’ ownership stake in Sirama; Concrebase Serviços de Concretagem plans to lease certain InterCement Brasil concrete plants; and food company Minerva plans to lease a meat processing industrial complex in São Paulo state from Asperbras Empreendimentos Imobiliários.OJ statements follow in Portuguese....
