Leasing company gets Greek GDPR fine

( November 29, 2023, 12:23 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Piraeus Leasing has been fined a total of 20,000 euros by the Greek Data Protection Authority for violating the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. The company had unlawfully processed the complainant’s personal data and posted an advertisement on its website with the complainant’s car in it. The photograph showed the license plate of the car, which lead to possible identification, the watchdog said.
