21 million people affected by Australian Clinical Labs data breach, privacy regulator alleges

In court documents released today, the Australian Information Commissioner accused ACL of failing to monitor security alerts on its Medlab network, rendering the company unable to determine when the cyberattack had occurred and whether it had resulted in the exfiltration of data.
