Alstom, Siemens merger receives New Zealand regulatory clearance

( December 17, 2018, 04:01 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary:  A global merger between French rail company Alstom and the mobility business of Germany’s Siemens has received regulatory clearance in New Zealand, with the country’s competition watchdog saying it had accepted that the two companies weren’t close competitors for the supply of signaling projects.
