Brazil's antitrust agency dismisses 'expert evidence' request in bearings cartel probe

( December 17, 2015, 14:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Brazil's antitrust agency has rejected a request by Nachi Brasil, Nachi-Fujikoshi and two individuals — all defendants in an antifriction bearings cartel case — that it look for expert evidence because the request was "generic." CADE has told three individuals to produce testimonial evidence and has notified defendants about upcoming hearings. In addition to Nachi Brasil and Nachi-Fujikoshi, other companies under investigation include NSK Brasil, NSK Europe, NTN-SNR, SKF, SKF do Brasil, SNR Rolamentos do Brasil, and Timken do Brasil Comércio e Indústria.OJ statement follows in Portuguese....
