​Vodafone's Liberty Global assets deal draws in-depth EU review (update*)

The European Commission today said the deal could harm competition in Germany, where Vodafone and Liberty own cable networks that operate in different regions. It also voiced concerns about the merged company's ability to offer "converged" services to Czech customers.
