Google Plus developers inadvertently got access to user data

( December 10, 2018, 18:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Google announced today that it has determined that some user information was exposed by a software update introduced in November that contained a bug affecting a Google Plus API. Google says no third party compromised its systems, and it has no evidence that the app developers that inadvertently had access to users' data for six days were aware of it or misused it in any way.
