While the EU’s main ambitions are to remove regulatory burdens in the car, chemical and pharmaceutical industries -- as well as opening up the US’s vast public procurement market -- the 28-member bloc is also interested in the immediate benefits of cutting tariffs.The EU would like to eliminate as many US tariffs on its products as possible when negotiations on a EU-US free-trade agreement begin next week in Washington....
