European Commission amends harmonized frequency bands for 5G rollout

The change protects passive satellite services below 24 GHz. The commission has also amended the conditions for paired terrestrial 2 GHz and 2.6 GHz frequency bands to make both frequency bands “fit for 5G use under the principle of technology neutrality.”...
