Indonesia's KPK, police and AGO agree to renew procedures for investigating graft cases

( March 30, 2017, 04:47 GMT | Insight) -- Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission, or KPK, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office have agreed to renew their standard operating procedures on corruption probes, including the use of electronic commencement of investigation warrants, or e-SPDP, the Jakarta Globe reports. The use of e-SPDP will notify each institution when an investigation is about to begin and send updates once it is in progress, said National Police Chief General Tito Karnavian. He also said the police would send officers whenever the KPK needs them. The KPK will start using e-SPDP in probes that are taking place in Banten and West Java, according to its chairman Agus Rahardjo....
