Cascades opposes motion for judgment in patent-licensing case

Cascades argues that even though the jury found that Samsung’s products did not infringe Cascades’ ‘750 patent, it does not mean that other unlicensed RPX members who make Android-based cellphones did not infringe, or that there was never a market for licenses under the ‘750 patent, the ‘130 patent, or any of the other 36 patents in the Cascades portfolio....
