ThyssenKrupp appoints Martina Merz, longtime Bosch manager, to supervisory board

( November 20, 2018, 19:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Martina Merz, a former Robert Bosch manager, has been appointed to the supervisory board of ThyssenKrupp, the German conglomerate preparing to split in two. Merz spent almost 25 years in various management posts at auto-parts maker Bosch. She already sits on the boards of five other companies, — Deutsche Lufthansa, Volvo Group, SAF Holland, Bekaert and Imerys — according to her LinkedIn profile. She was recommended for the post by a nomination committee that includes representatives of ThyssenKrupp’s two largest shareholders, the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation and Cevian Capital.Full statement follows....
