Automated driving, data sharing among key tasks in China's five-year informatization plan

( December 28, 2021, 05:42 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China aims to realize the application of L3 automated vehicles and above by 2025, according to the 14th Five-Year National Informatization Plan unveiled yesterday by the Office of Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission. Generally, L3 involves automated features that allow drivers to engage in activities behind the wheel. The plan also envisions the opening up of public-data resources relevant to population, transportation and telecom; and calls on companies to open up data relating to searching, e-commerce and social networking for the development of the Big-Data service industry.
