Tokopedia, Indonesian ministry sued by consumer group over data breach

In a statement, the Indonesian Consumer Community, or KKI, said it filed a lawsuit asking a court to impose a 100 billion rupiah ($6.7 million) fine on Tokopedia for failing to protect its users' personal data in line with applicable laws and regulations, and to order the ministry to revoke the company's certificate as an electronic-systems operator.  ...
