Kosakowo airport state aid-recovery challenges rejected by General Court
( December 21, 2021, 14:15 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The town of Kosakowo, northern Poland, has lost its appeal at the bloc's first-tier court, where it had sought to overturn a European Commission order for Poland to recoup illegal state aid worth 21.8 million euros granted to Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport. In a separate ruling also handed down today, the General Court has now dismissed a legal challenge brought by the city of Gdynia and the airport itself, after the bloc's top court last year sent back its judgment that scrapped the European Commission's order to recover investments granted to the airport.The rulings are attached (in French).
