Fastweb, TIM, Vodafone, Wind Tre get reduced cartel fines in Italy

( October 17, 2023, 08:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Italian competition authority has now reduced fines it had imposed in 2020 on telecom operators Fastweb, TIM, Vodafone and Wind Tre, for running a cartel on monthly bills sent to customers. The AGCM has now reduced Fastweb's fine to 12.7 million euros (around $13.4 million), from the previous 14.7 million euros. TIM's fine has been reduced to 100.7 million euros, from 114 million euros. Vodafone Italia's fine is now 52.8 million euros, in place of 60 million euros. Wind's fine was reduced to 36.4 million euros, from 39 million euros.
