China's draft revisions to Antimonopoly Law draw extensive comment from public

( December 17, 2021, 09:50 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's top legislature received a total of 416 comments from 166 parties regarding the country's draft amendments to the Antimonopoly Law between Oct. 23 and Nov. 21, Yue Zhongming, spokesperson for the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, told a press conference today. The legislature also received 24 letters from the public over the matter, he said. Comments mainly focused on issues such as administrative abuses, key enforcement areas and the safe-harbor system for monopolistic agreements.
