( June 17, 2013, 14:52 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: In a filing in support of a proposed final settlement in the class action lawsuit over its 'Sponsored Stories' advertising program, Facebook says that over 600,000 class members will get a payment of at least $10, and that Facebook will implement a wide range of injunctive provisions, including "robust new disclosures and greater transparency" concerning Sponsored Stories, as well as ew tools to allow Facebook users to control their appearances in the ads, and new educational materials and tools that allow parents to opt their children out of Sponsored Stories entirely.Please see attached document...
