Patterson Dental made bid for contract with a buying group, former employee tells FTC court

The FTC's complaint accuses Patterson Dental, Benco Dental and Henry Schein — the three largest dental supply companies in the US — of conspiring to refuse to provide discounts to or otherwise serve buying groups representing independent dental practitioners.Patterson Dental made a bid to do business with a dental supply buying group sometime in 2017, a former Patterson executive told a Federal Trade Commission administrative law judge on Friday.
