K+S-Remex joint venture gets conditional German merger approval

( December 2, 2021, 11:18 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Remondis Group subsidiary Remex and K+S Minerals and Agriculture have received conditional German approval to set up a joint venture to dispose of hazardous waste underground. The deal would have expanded K+S's leading market position and Remondis's strong market position on the upstream markets also raised competition concerns, the watchdog said. To obtain merger clearance, Remex had to sell its share in rival Minex.Statement follows....
