Lactalis-DPA deal, four gun-jumping probes, medical-devices probe get Sept. 27 ruling date in Brazil

( September 21, 2023, 12:47 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The Brazilian competition authority is scheduled to rule on Sept. 27 on Lactalis' buyout of Dairy Partners Americas, as well as on four gun-jumping probes, some of which include JBJ Agropecuária and J&F, and HAL Investments and SBM Offshore. The Administrative Council for Economic Defense, or CADE, is also set to decide on a probe into Raízen Combustíveis, Petrobras Distribuidora (currently Vibra Energia) and Ipiranga Produtos de Petróleo for allegedly harming competition while participating in lease auctions for port areas intended for moving and storing fuel. Cartel investigations concerning medical devices, medicines and fuel resellers are also scheduled for a ruling.See CADE list of rulings....
