Globalpack, STT Participações seek CADE clearance for joint venture

( August 13, 2014, 20:28 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Plastic manufacturer Globalpack Indústria e Comércio and STT Participações have notified the Brazilian competition authority of their proposed joint venture, which will allow them to produce thermoplastic resin polyethylene terephthalate packaging, known as PET. The joint venture will be called Globalpack Plasticase Indústria e Comércio de Embalagens Plásticas (G+P). Globalpack will hold 52 percent of G+P and STT will hold the remaining shares.Read the full statement in Portuguese below....
