BNetzA Statement: Interconnection charges for fixed calls increased

( December 1, 2008, 09:36 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Statement: The German telecoms regulator, Bundesnetzagentur, has increased the fees incumbent Deutsche Telekom can charge other operators for incoming calls by 4.4 percent. The regulator has increased the basic interconnection charge from 0.52 euro cents per minute to 0.54 cents during peak hours, and from 0.36 cents per minute to 0.38 cents between 18.00 and 09.00. The regulator says declining traffic volumes justify the increase, though Deutsche Telekom had asked for a 10 percent increase....
