( July 27, 2012, 09:45 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The European Commission has temporarily approved a Greek bridge recapitalisation in favour of Alpha Bank, EFG Eurobank, Piraeus Bank and National Bank of Greece. It has also started an in-depth probe into the measures. The approval normally expires in six months, unless the Greek authorities make a complete notification of the final recapitalisation within that period.
